Some Ways to Save Money
October 13th, 2007 | by getapayday |Talking about debt does take its toll, doesn’t it? After a couple of weeks of nothing but debt talk – however positive the spin was – I just don’t feel like talking about debt anymore. By the way, just to share. I just paid off a huge credit card bill the other day and I feel much better for it. The fact is that I still have an outstanding balance but it’s nothing that I cannot handle in the next month or so. Doesn’t it feel good to chip away at that gigantic debt?
Going in another direction, let us look at some practical ways that can help us save money even in the most ordinary activities that we engage in. Here goes.
Get rid of credit card debt.
Hah! I just can’t veer away from the topic, can’t I? Just one more paragraph about it, I promise.
Credit card debt will accumulate such high interest and can eat away at any savings that you may have. My suggestion is for you to deal with this debt first and you will see just how much you can save by doing so.
Cut costs on your telecommunication bills.
Do you have both a home phone (fixed line) and a mobile phone? We used to be the same way in the family. We had a fixed line and every one had his mobile phone. Then we realised we didn’t really need the fixed line anymore – we all had our phones we took everywhere! All I can say is that we are saving a LOT without a BT subscription.
