One of the worst things for me is to receive my credit card bill just after the holidays.  Even though each year, I tell myself that I will not use that credit card to the max and use cash as much as possible, it seems that the temptation is just so hard to resist.  Just about a week or so ago, I was out at the malls shopping and it was just so hard for me not to simply take out the card and swipe it instead of taking paper bills.

However, for the New Year, I thought that it would be a good thing to clear up my credit card debt and really try to use cash as much as possible.  Why?  First off, with cash, you can keep track of your expenses more easily.  That way, you can stop spending if you run out of it.

But what if you do not have enough cash and you really have urgent needs? For example, if you already have plans for the New Year and you do not have enough cash to carry them out?  I think it would be better to consider taking out a payday loan or a cash advance loan instead of using your credit card again.

Credit card swiping is such an easy thing to do and before you know it, your spending would have exceeded what you are capable of paying.  At least, with a payday loan, you only get a fixed amount and you know exactly how much you need to pay when the time comes.  More so, you will have cash on hand and that is the only thing that you can spend.
